Symposium “Strategic Approach to Reading Instruction in the School Library” hosted by the Society of Library and Information Science, Meiji University

This symposium will be held with support of the 2016 IASL Tokyo Managing Committee, and discusses the significance of reading educations in school and the effects of readings on curriculum contents, in transition term of national education policy from “Yutori” (pressure-free) to academic ability conscious. Particularly under such condition what roles and efforts school libraries can take will be examined. Admission free
